School and Teacher registrations for 2010 AzSEF are now open.
Volunteer and Judge registrations will open on December 1st.
Student/Project registration will open on January 4th, 2010


Welcome to the Online registration 101. This page is designed to facilitate the registration process of schools, teachers, and students for AzSEF. Below you will find detailed description of each phase of registration for AzSEF. It is recommended that you read the entire registration procedure in order to help you avoid any errors in your registration with us.

Step 1: Each school that has students attending needs to be registered first.
Step 2: Each science teacher that has students attending needs to be registered.
Step 3: Each project and its student(s) need to be registered in order to participate.
Step 4: Each registered student needs to pay a registration fees.
Step 5: Each student/project needs to fill out ISEF Forms.

(Step 1) Register your school:

Each school that has students participating will be required to register with us in order for its teachers and students to be able to register for AzSEF. In school registration page you will be asked to fill out basic school information. If you are home school instead of the school name you put your last name. After you have filled out the school information you will be asked for about your information. Please note that by filling out these fields you will NOT be registering yourself for AzSEF, just your school. The personal information is just a contact info on the person who registered the school. It is important that you enter valid email address as that will be the address that we will send registration confirmation to.
After you have submitted the school registration you will receive a confirmation email from us, to the email address provided, informing you that your school has been successfully registered for AzSEF and your teachers may begin registering. It can take up to 48 business hours for the registration to be approved. If you do not receive a confirmation email by end of the 3rd business day please contact us.
All registrations must be submitted by our deadline!

(Step 2) Register your teachers:

After you have received a confirmation email that your school has been successfully registered, teachers form your school may begin their registrations. Only science teachers who have their students attending need to be registered. Every student attending needs to have their teacher registered. In teacher registration you will be asked to fill out few basic information, such as your school and your email address.
After you have submitted the teacher registration you will receive a confirmation email from us, to the email address provided, informing you that you have been successfully registered for AzSEF and your students may begin registering. It can take up to 48 business hours for the registration to be approved. If you do not receive a confirmation email by end of the 3rd business day please contact us.
All registrations must be submitted by our deadline!

(Step 3) Register your projects and students:

After your teacher has been successfully registered, students and their projects may now begin registering. There is maximum limit of three (3) students per project and project number. Any additional students for the project will not be allowed to participate. In the project registration you will be asked basic information about your project such as its title and category. In addition you will be asked some student(s) information. It is important that you enter valid email address into the registration form as a confirmation email with project number will be sent to those addresses. There will be only one project number assigned per project of up to three (3) students. It is important for you to know your project number, thus it is recommended that you print out the email and tape it to the back of your project board.
After you have submitted the project registration you will receive am immediate confirmation email from us, to the email address provided, informing you that you have been successfully registered for AzSEF. It should take only minutes for the email to arrive. Once you have received the confirmation email please proof all the information that is given. If you see a mistake do NOT re-register, but contact us. If you do not receive a confirmation email by end of the day contact us.

(Step 4) Pay your registration fee:

Each registered student (not project) will be required to pay a $10 registration fee. Payments need to be postmarked by our deadline in order for students to participate in AzSEF. Payments can be made online via PayPal (which accepts any major credit cards) or via paper form such as, check, purchase order, money order, or cashiers check. Do NOT send cash. All forms of payment must include student(s) name(s) associated with the payment given. Please make the payment out to:

(Step 5) Fill out your forms:

Aside from online registration form, each student and project needs to have certain forms fill out. First form that each participating student needs to fill out is the Photo Release Form. Forms that required for each project/student (see description) are the Research Plan, Form 1, Form 1A, and Form 1B. Additional forms may be required for project depending on their research topic. It is up to students to look through each form's description to see if the form is required for their project. Forms may be send in with registration fees, if you are not using PayPal.
